The tweaks consist of all sorts of things such as correcting grammatical errors in the dialogues, making mismatched VOs match, getting the background music to play properly if it hadn't earlier, restoring some cut items like the vibrocutter There's really more changes than I could ever list here, and the readme does a better job at explaining them than I've done anyway.
Very handy mod, regardless of what kind you may normally prefer. Since Team Gizka is also not restoring anythign from Peragus, you can expect no conflicts with their mod when it is out.

It was installed in the Peragus asteroid field as a second attempt at siphoning Peragian fuel after the first one resulted in the near-destruction of the planet Peragus II and was itself an Asteroid. The project was possibly endorsed by G0-T0 during contract negotiations for the Telosian restoration effortsas he attempted to force the Republic to turn to shipping fuel from Peragus rather than buying it from the Huttswhich he deemed as a suicidal business venture.
The mining facility was sabotaged by an HK Jedi hunter who stumbled upon Meetra Surik and found his way to the Ebon Hawkwhere the former Jedi was taken by Kreia after she was drugged by the assassin droid during a diplomatic journey to Telos IV aboard the Harbinger.
When the freighter docked with the station for critical repairs, both Jedi were unconscious and in need of medical attention. The administrator of the facility sent them to the medical bay, inventoried and sealed the ship's cargo, and brought its droid crew to maintenance.
Though HK presented himself as a mere protocol droidhe was allowed to work with the maintenance officer on droid repairs. From that point, he sought to learn all he could about security, personnel and anything that would gain him facility control.
To subtly undermine facility operations, he tampered with mining droid comm routines and recognition sensors to stage accidents and have all units brought to maintenance, prematurely detonated sonic charges that injured several miners, and used the maintenance station to order a sedative treatment to be given to all patients in med bay, delivering a dosage that would prevent Meetra from waking up but that would be lethal to the miners.
Meanwhile, despite the administrator's best efforts to keep it secret, knowledge of Meetra's standing with the Jedi had leaked out from a miner who served with her in the Battle of Malachor V. Some of the miners, who could not ignore the chance to take advantage of Meetra's state of unconsciousness, made plans to collect the bounty the Exchange had posted on live Jedi. Against the orders of the heads of the facility, Coorta and his mining crew kept plotting, and HK joined them in the hopes of gaining a means to get off the station.KotOR 2 - Peragus Hanger Logs
Mimicking the maintenance officer's voice via comlinkHK claimed that if they could provide a transport, he knew how to cover their tracks and make sure the Republic was not alerted. Coorta contacted a smuggler to take Meetra to Nar Shaddaabut whether the smuggler had arrived at the facility by the time Meetra regained consciousness is unknown.
HK went on to cripple the facility, slicing into the fuel depot computers, creating a phantom fuel leak, and strategically sealing off areas with force fields to block passage to the hangar bay. Finally, detonations were triggered in isolated gas pockets down the mining tunnels, causing a lockdown that drove the miners into emergency sections of the station and cut them off from communications and facility control.
The surviving miners tried to use a holo-transmitter to beam a transmission to the administration level that would end the lockdown, but by that time HK had severed the administration console from the main hub. The miners kept using the transmitter as a relay to beam distress signals outside the Peragus facility until they were killed as toxic fumes built up in the ventilation system.
Although the Peragus administrator believed Kreia to be dead and sent her to the morgue, she was actually in a Hibernation trance. From there, she unconsciously reached out to Meetra and awoke her from her kolto tank. The two met and Kreia urged Meetra to find the Ebon Hawk so that they might escape the disturbances Kreia had sensed during their slumber. Fighting her way through hostile mining droids, Meetra explored the rest of the facility, slowly regaining her Force sensitivity under Kreia's guidance.
She found Atton Rand in a Force cage on the administration level and accepted his remote assistance through the mining tunnels as she futilely attempted to find an alternate route to the hangar. Eventually the Harbingerunder the command of Darth Sion and his Sith assassinsdocked with the station, opening the airlock on a docking bridge.
Meetra, Atton, and Kreia joined forces and were forced to confront and destroy HK, who made one last attempt to claim Meetra's bounty, before they could board the Republic vessel. There they acquired the necessary orbital drift charts from the ship's navicomputer and made for the engine deck, fighting their way through stealthed Sith Assassins. Before they could escape, Darth Sion found the trio and Kreia stopped to hold him off.
During their short but decisive duel, Sion cut off Kreia's hand but spared her life. She, Meetra, Atton, and T3-M4 —who had been disabled by HK but was later found in the fuel line to the hangar—barely made it to the Ebon Hawk as they took off with Sith troopers on their heels. With T3-M4 doubling as an astrogation system, the party made the jump to hyperspace in an attempt to evade the Harbinger —but not before the warship had fired upon an asteroid, setting off a chain of explosions that destroyed the facility and the entire asteroid field.
In the wake of the Mandalorian Wars and the Jedi Civil Warthe loss of the Peragian fuel source set in motion events that, according to G0-T0 's prospects, would result in the utter collapse of the Republic in one standard month's time.
The fate of the Telosian Restoration Project —which relied on fuel from Peragus to keep Citadel Station in orbit—was tied to that of twenty other worlds, with them the Republic would lose the fundamental infrastructures needed to support itself.
Upon her arrival on TelosMeetra was put under house arrest pending the results of an inquiry by the Telosian government. However, logs recovered from the facility's wreckage indicated that the miners perished as a result of sabotage and that the Harbinger had indeed been present and was responsible for the station's destruction.
The administration level was the main floor and the center of operations for the facility, containing its med bay, morgue, communications consoles, prison, and turbolifts to the dormitories and mining tunnels. When Meetra Surik arrived at the facility, she was put into a kolto tank in the med bay, and it was here that she began her explorations of the facility. Meetra and Atton Rand used one of the consoles on the administration level to contact T3-M4 and have him unlock an emergency hatch to the mining tunnels.
These tunnels were where Peragus fuel was mined, then piped up to the fuel depot. When Meetra Surik entered the mining tunnels via the turbolift from the administration level, she was attacked by mining droids, who had been reprogrammed by HK to attack all organics. The Sith Lords tells the story of a former Jedi who was cast out of the Order and lost the ability to feel the force. Nearly a decade later, the Exile finally returns to the Republic, only to find it on its knees in the wake of the Jedi Civil War five years before.
After linking up with a Republic warship, the Exile is brought to the brink of death when Sith forces attack the vessel, leaving the former Jedi comatose and adrift in the badly damaged Ebon Hawk. Soon thereafter, the Exile awakens in a mining complex whose inhabitants have been slaughtered by their own droids, with the sole survivors being an old ex-Jedi named Kreia, a smuggler named Atton Rand, and the Hawk 's utility droidT3-M4. The four band together, escaping the complex just as the Sith arrive, and Kreia takes the Exile in as her apprentice.
The group proceeds to seek out the remains of the now-devastated Jedi Order, gathering allies in the hopes of finding the remaining Jedi Masters and defeating the Sith. However, it quickly becomes clear that Kreia is not quite what she seems —nor is anyone on the Ebon Hawkthe Exile included Despite being released rushed and unfinished due to a Troubled Production and Executive Meddling the ending in particular was disjointed and nearly-absentwith many subplots Left Hangingthe game was still a relative success and, like its predecessor, firmly found its place in Star Wars Legends canon, being referenced heavily by later works.
The game actively deconstructs the very foundations of the setting such as The Force itselfand the general mood is noticeably Darker and Edgier than in the original, borrowing themes from Planescape: Torment.
A notable facet of the game's rushed status is that much of the missing content — including large portions of the ending — still exist in the game's filesunimplemented due to further Executive Meddling preventing a post-release content patch. They rely on it. Depend on it, more than they know. A child. Tropes A-H. Abandoned Hospital Awakening : This game starts with the Exile awakening in the medical bay of Peragus mining station, only to find out that the miners have been massacred, with Kreia and Atton being the only two other living beings aboard. Absurdly High Level Cap : The maximum level cap is You can, maybe, get up to 30 with the available experience and without abusing the mechanics.
This may have been in response to the absurdly low level cap in the first game due to the d20 roleplaying mechanic it might also have something to do with the massive amounts of cut content.
Non-boss enemies still cap out at 20 though, so even the weakest build will find the game laughably simple not long after that point. There's also an exploit one can use to get to level 50, though it takes quite a long time and isn't really worth it.
After-Combat Recovery : As in the first game, characters revive with minimal HP once the battle is done. Atton has a chance to do this during battle. Even if you are a full dark-side user, that apparently makes you better than the Sith.Coorta was a Miner at the Peragus Mining Facility in BBY with a notorious reputation for criminal activities and a strong desire to leave the facility to do something more profitable.
He sought an opportunity by selling Meetra Surika Jedi who fought in the Mandalorian Wars and was exiled by her Order to the Exchange who had a Bounty for live Jedi. Coorta was a well known miner around the Peragus Mining Facility because of his undergound activities such as smuggling contraband such as blastersspice and grenadeswhich earned him the ire of a few high ranking personnel such as the Security Officer because of the volatile nature of mining Peragus II Fuel.
When the fuel was initailly mined it caused Peragus II to explode, creating the Peragus Asteroid field and subsiquent mining facility. The droid then posed as Meetra ' s master and her protocol droidthrough questioning informed the Administration Officer of Meetra ' s history. The Officer hoped to keep the information away from the miners but Coorta would soon learn from another miner who had apparently been in her service. Coorta immediately began conspiring with his other miners, who were supposed to siphon the asteroid shelfthe idea of selling Surik to the Exchangewhich had posted a massive bounty on Jedi.
Over time he tried to recruit others, several of the miners agreed that this would be in their best interests, while others, such as the Mine Foreman Sien wanted nothing to do with it. But knowing that Coorta won't give up, the Officer decided to make contact with the Republichoping to inform them of the location of Surik to get her of the facility to Telos IV before Coorta could ship her of to Nar Shaddaa.
In order to accomplish his mission, the HK set a plan in motion to prevent the Republic from coming to rescue Surik.
The plan was to detain all of the miners in the dormitories with a few well timed explosions resulting in a lockdown and cover their tracks ensuring the Republic will not be alerted to their presence.
Coorta was to use his contacts to provide transportation out of the Peragus system. Although slightly suspicious he proceeded anyway. Sien, who earlier tried to reason with Coorta about his intentions to sell the Jedi but was unsuccessful, overheard the pair's plans wanted to report the scheme to the Administration Officer but hesitated because of the amount of trouble it would bring.
Sien soon learned of the plans in clear detail but instead of the Administration Officer or Coorta, he confronted the real maintenance officer, who was unaware of the situation and said he had nothing to do with it.
He was in the middle of his log called "Must Take Action! Within hours HK, using the Maintenance Officer ' s voice, commanded the Mining droids to "mine" the miners while creating detonations that caused casualties within the facility. Soon the Droid triggered an explosion that caused much of the surviving crew to evacuate their stations to flood their dormitories.
What they were not aware of was that the explosion damaged the ventilation systems which would soon flood the rooms with toxic fumes. Coorta never realised that HK had no intention of honoring their agreement.
When the time came to trigger the emergency lockdown HK attempted to lock Coorta with the other miners. Coorta barely made it out but his efforts were all for naught, as HK reversed the turbolift codes in case Coorta managed to get far enough, the droid revealed its true colours to Coorta and ordered several mining droids, armed with mining lasers and drills, to kill him and his conspirators who couldn't get the lift to work. HK gloated his victory to Coorta ' s dead body and drugged the Jedi, and other miners in their Kolto tanks with enough sedatives to kill the miners, but caused her to be in a deep sleep to patiently wait for his own transport to take the bounty to Nar Shaddaa.
She managed to pick up every log she could find, including Coorta ' s, to piece together the story of what happened over the last 3 days. She, Kreiaanother passenger of the Ebon Hawk and Atton Randa smuggler who was in the brig for a security violation that, ironically, spared his life would soon join together to try to escape the facility. They were confronted by the HK, who confessed his actions about sabotaging the facility and the Hammerhead-class cruiser Harbinger to her and after Surik refused to go back into the Kolto Tank, she fought the Droid destroying it, avenging the deaths of the miners.
The facility was soon afterwards destroyed when the Harbinger fired on the Ebon hawk and in the insuring skirmish triggered the very chain reaction of explosions that made the facility dangerous from the very beginning. Coorta ' s body was likely engulfed in the explosion. Coorta was a fair skinned Human male with grey eyes and light brown hair. Coorta was someone who didn't care whether anything was legal or otherwise, as long as it meant a profit to him.
He earned the Ire of the Security Officerfor this. Coorta ' s desire to sell the Jedi because he wanted to get of the facility whatever it took, caused him to overlook his suspicions regarding the "Maintainance Officer" offering him a plan, commenting, "Since when did the Maintenance officer grow some horns? He was also willing to attack Sien because of him attempting to stop the plan made by HK However, Coorta did have some concern for the miners; after realizing that the other miners trapped in the dormitories were going to be killed by the toxic exhaust fumes in the ventilation he expressed that out clearly with shock.
In his last moments he ordered his conspirators to continue trying the turbolift codes in fear and begged to know why the "Officer" was doing this before the Droid showed his true colours before his death. Like the other miners and officers in the Peragus mining facility, Coorta is only seen in holorecords and a generic corpse which bears his name. His true appearance is clear only when the game's "Frame Buffer Effects" option is switched off.

Ulic makes his FileFront debut with a big mod for a first time release. Many bugs worked out during the Prologue, Peragus, and Harbinger parts of the game. With the TSL Restoration Project getting close to being finished, the author hopes that this mod will compliment it. This inspired Ulic to make this mod for the beginning of the game. Hi there, i'm stuck on early game at the point when i have to get the 3 voice fragments, i already got 2 but the persuade options are not showing at all when i'm talking to the HK droid. Any other way to get the last fragment? Thank you. Showing 1 - 3 of 3 comments. You only get the persuade option to get the HK droid to speak the full code if your persuade skill is high enough.
Without a sufficient persuade skill you need the 3 voice recordings, one from the voice locked maintenance console, one from the security desk up on the administration level and one from the HK droid - which doesn't need a persuade.
If it is this last one you are missing then you need to ask the droid about the maintenance officer's last words. Akko View Profile View Posts. You don't even really need the voice recordings. If it is the Fuel Depot you are stuck on just bash the console, near the airlock and it will open up for you. Thanks people i'm going to try these options :. Last edited by Maeth ; 12 Feb, am.
